Overall, BankofWoW got a pretty messy website. The readability is horrible, there are loads of informations everywhere. That’s a pretty confusing experience. Their homepage is far too long. It’s really tedious. They got a lot of features but the readability of the website makes it a real pain in the ass to find anything valuable. At the moment, this website is really surprising. Some credentials are out of date. If we had an advice to give them, we would emphasize the necessity of having a professional and clear website.

Reliability

Customer service was surprisingly decent. Average response times for live chat were under a minute, although responses often took thirty to forty seconds. The English was not the best around, but it wasn’t hard to understand and communication was clear.

Their toll free number won’t be of much help if you don’t call them for a reason (a review isn’t a good enough reason yet) Of course, we called the number and when they answered (after a few connection issues) we found out it was a bit difficult to communicate and that their English is limited to what issues customers may encounter. But I think you ll find a way to make they understand what your issue is, should you have a dispute with them.

Customer support obviously is minimal, but for a gold purchase as long as they deliver the gold it isn’t usually that necessary. They claim themselves that avoiding customers’ dissatisfaction is their best way to offer a good customer service.

The purchasing process is rather standard. It’s not pretty, but it’s easy to use and it works. BankofWoW only offers one payment service and that is credit card processing through Paypal. They also have an interesting point system that serves as a customer reward program. It makes an already cheap service even cheaper in the long run.

Payment options are limited, but most people have a credit card and it isn’t necessary for 95% of customers to have ten different payment options for a simple virtual currency purchase. That was quite a problem during their Paypal laundering review. If anything should happen again, we will update our website, so don’t worry.

Note: They don’t accept deliveries with characters with letters that can be misleading. Indeed, in many European languages, there are loads of “special letters” like î ï ù ç and so on. The other thing they do well is affiliate services. You can make more than 12% for anyone you refer to them to sell gold (C2C affiliation, so it’s not about a website but you, the customers referring others)

We placed our order for 2000 gold via Pay Pal and received our confirmation page instantly. Within about 4 hours from our order confirmation we received a trade from one of their agents. We quickly acquired our 2000 gold and with amazing speed and ease. Delivery was made face-to-face. No need to run to Stormwind. He came to us and delivered. Fast, friendly, efficient. Stunning. We were rather pleased with the ease of the purchase. Of course, AH method is way easier and safer but it costs much more. It would still be nice if they could implement it.

Our test order took about six hours which clearly falls into this range of the 60% they proudly display.

The actual method of delivery was rather good (even if it already existed when I was playing EQ years ago) since it involves the auction house (AH). You put up some cheap items at ridiculous prices in the AH and notify BankofWoW who then will at some point send a customer service agent to purchase those items.

We did find it much easier than companies that force you to do a face-to-face trade. They even give you customer loyalty points to make up for the slight percent that the Auction House takes out of the transaction.

We also like that BankofWoW makes the bold claim that they do not carry an inventory and denounces any gold sellers that claim they do. They make the truthful claim that they are forced to continuously gather the gold the second an order arrives and have a constant chain distributing to customers using a just-in-time inventory model. It’s simply too dangerous to store large quantities of gold on farmers accounts due to the risk of a farming/holding account getting banned. Everything sounds correct.

The thing to consider isn’t the cost of the transaction, but the speed and reliability of the delivery. Currently, both these aspects are favorable and they have the cheapest gold available. If BankofWoW continues its reputation as one of the cheapest WOW gold seller, it will undoubtedly grow. It’s one of the top low cost gold provider available and they are rather reliable. Nevertheless, I believe that such a nice and promising business deserves a better website. The page loading time isn’t good enough and the overall website appearance is pretty ugly. It is still very functional and easy to understand, but it really looks very old and unprofessional. It doesn’t really give the impression that you are dealing with a reliable seller.
