Some of you may have noticed that the long promised Paid Account Services for Aion have finally hit the NCsoft store.
Here is the breakdown: (One per account per purchase)
Character Customization: $9.99 | ?6.99
Character Name Change: $9.99 | ?6.99
Gender Change: $14.99 | ?9.99
Legion Name Change: $19.99 | ?13.99
They've also added a couple of special Holiday packs that can be purchased and applied to one of your characters:
*True Love Valentine Pack: $9.99 | ?6.99
The True Love Valentine Pack includes these in-game items for use on one character, on one account:
*Chocolate Valentine Pack: $9.99 | ?6.99
The Chocolate Valentine Pack includes these in-game items for use on one character, on one account:
*These packs are only available for purchase until February 28, 2010
That's all for now. I for one am happy that they've begun to give access to some of the [EVENT] items within Aion and since little in these packs affects gameplay, I don't see anything wrong with them being made for purchase. For those who don't want to buy, the Heart Headband was given out freely to one character also.
BUT, I'm certainly not the only opinion out there. What do you think of these services, packs, and pricing?

Pick a new name, a new look, a new gender, or a new Legion name with new Aion Account Services. Visit the NCsoft Store, select the service you'd like to purchase, and click the Buy Now button. Customization is just a few clicks away.
Once you've purchased an account service, all you have to do is log into your NCsoft Master Account, go to your Aion Game Account Details page, and use Apply In-Game Items on your selected character. Log into Aion with the selected character, and the appropriate account service ticket will be waiting in your in-game express mail.
