Review - Offgamers: A safe Gold Vendor?

OffGamers started on a Small Office Home Office concept in 2001, as they worked on a very simple business model, selling Diablo 2 items.

With more experience and an expanding customer base, they realized the vast potential the industry. With WoW making MMO's more popular and the two leaders (IGE and MySuperSales) starting to collapse, they incorporated OffGamers Limited in late 2004 and took place amongst the leaders of the industry. They got 300 000 customers worldwide and provide various services for over 70 MMORPG's titles. If you choose to read their �about us� page, you will notice that they are pretty honest and absolutely not secretive.

Years after years, Offgamers continues to do its best to offer an impressive game selection, an excellent customer service and an outstanding site. That may seem easy but if you keep in mind the numerous services they provide over 70 titles that's quite an achievement.

Due to the vast, fast, competitive and customer oriented services, they provide and keep updated and supplied, they are without the shadow of a doubt one of the true leaders of the market.

Since late 2009:
Offgamers has been slacking a lot. They are much more oriented on their looks and communication than on customers. Their deliveries have been getting slower. Their success rate is decreasing a lot. Their cancellation rate is increasing.

We hope that they will try to focus a bit more on visitors and provide a spotless service as they used to.

Offgamers got a mixed reputation. Some like them, some hate them. It's a bit strange since a gold purchase shouldn't lead people to get emotionnaly involved but things are the way they are.

They have been working a lot on social network (Facebook, twitter, their Offgamers' space, etc.)

Since 2009 they have been having difficulties to maintain their high expectation on deliveries, quality of service, customer service, etc.

Offgamers is a reference in terms of security. They are the best as long as web security is concerned.

Ingame safety: 8/10
Everything is very well done and their website is helping a lot understanding how deliveries work (for each game) They have been a bit underperforming lately. Their delivery process is still quite efficient and discrete.

Overall: 80/100
Offgamers is one of the biggest and oldest currency seller on the market. In my experience their support was fine, the deliveries were ok.

Even if they have been underperforming since 2009, they are still a major actor of the RMT market.

In the end they are trustworthy but far from the best website.

I ordered some gold from offgamers. I was told I was sent two screen shots proving that the gold were sent. They prove nothing my name is never in the send box and nothing is in the attachment box when the send button is pushed. I'm getting the run around with the online help. I"m going to paypal and the BBB. Don"t use this service and get burned like I did.
