The MOGS was thought to become a U.S. competitor to MySuperSales and IGE when the market of virtual currency was in its early beginning. The Mogs is definitely a smaller company compared to some of the juggernauts of the industry, but they generally offer competitive prices and a n outstanding customer service which is their main strength to differentiate. They claim that they are 100% American owned and operated with offices in only the USA and that they strictly hire MMO gamers as staff members. The company also offers one of the largest selections of Currency, Power Leveling & Accounts for MMORPG players. Their game selection is pretty impressive.

Their website mostly provides true informations. I think that this quote from their website is what characterize them best:

Ease of use

Mogs offers a great interface to quickly search for your goods. You will immediately notice if the site is of potential use to you, and they keep it in a nice shape to ensure a clear readability of the website. The navigation system is really simple and has a good visibility. They also got a really short URL that is pretty easy to remember and type and even during US prime time the download times are pretty decent. Even the shopping cart is easy to use.

One of the weaknesses of their site, at the moment, is the lack of quick order forms and the lack of an alternative way to find your way to the thing you need to purchase it super fast. You also need to register to purchase anything.

In a nutshell, Mogs provides a professional website that is really easy to master even if it could use more internal links and better download times.

Reliability

They offer one of the best customer support, fast email answers and discerning live support responses even if they don’t take incoming calls yet MOGS just offers some of the best customer service in the market. Their response time is globally within a few minutes and all of their customer service employees are located in the United States and speak perfect English (not geek, gamer English but the kind of English even foreigners will understand well). They were very helpful, professional and tried their best to answer our questions.

We know that some of you will really appreciate the fact that they live in the USA and share the same culture. Even if it doesn’t make Mogs the best website that is an asset that some of you might appreciate.

Shall you choose to visit their “about us” page, you will be in touch with the actual people behind the Mogs, see pictures of the people you are dealing with. That’s really a new way to create a strong link with their customers and to show the human and tangible part behind the “company”. It should be emphasized that they also managed to get the highest rankings on BizRate. A nice green ranking since 2008 with 5000 voters.

At the present time, they only lack a customer service phone number.

They are one of the only long established website to be almost absent from complaints and rip off boards. You may be surprised but we also checked most of those boards to crosscheck data.

If you are a new customer you must provide your contact and payment information (including phone number). Like most of the leaders they only got payments through Paypal. You may pay with your credit call through Paypal though. All new customers go through a fraud check that involves MOGS verifying your contact information and calling the phone number you provide for your protection as well as theirs. This call is an alternative way to ask them any question.

Pricing Policy

Mogs offers a quite competitive pricing most of the time that is pretty consistent across servers and factions. They are far from being the lowest priced on the market but their efforts to keep a great service has to be taken into consideration in terms of delivery times and customer service.

Delivery

They have two categories of purchase, instant and pre-order. These pre-orders normally take 3 to 24 hours to be processed, but they claim that most of them are completed in under 12 hours. Instant Orders are handled face to face in game and Pre-Orders are mailed to your characters mailbox.

They have an excellent inventory management and supplier system in place even if it doesn’t totally prevent uncertainties.

MOGS does not have the fastest delivery available; however, they do not claim to either. Keep in mind that the market is really instable (their suppliers are farmers and even if they are keeping a clean hand worked business, it isn’t yet supported by editors) Websites claiming that all their deliveries are instant are mostly fraud or it would have a real impact on prices. Although they don’t not have the fastest delivery time, they are very reliable.

Their instant delivery system seem to develop a lot and might make pre-order obsolete in the near future.

Like many other website, Mogs has recently launched their “express delivery” service where they log in to your account and transfer your virtual currency in it themselves. This is currently the fastest delivery option on the market. The only issue is that it is really easy to spot and you might have your account flagged really fast. The good thing is they use U.S. IPs so if your living in the USA, the risk isn’t too high if you really need an instant delivery. You may still want to wait and see how the editors react to those new methods. Again, the choice is yours but we strongly advise you to be extra cautious. Summary

Mogs clearly appears to be one of the leader of the market in terms of reliability, game and virtual goods selection and overall quality of their service. Their website guarantees an easy navigation, great visibility, secure transactions and satisfying delivery.

Most of all they distinguish themselves in two major ways: they have been providing a green bizrate rating since 2008 (only two other websites can claim they achieved the same, IGE and Mysupersales); and they are a U.S. based company with a friendly, open and personalized relation with their customers that make them really unique.

UPDATE

It is still an excellent website and deserves its awards. The website has been improving over the last months. Even better than it was a few months ago.
